It has been some time since the passing of Michael Jackson, but his popularity has not died one bit. People all over the world are having Michael Jackson Birthday Party Themes and Tribute Parties to honor this Pop Star Legend taken way before his time.

This Michael Jackson Cake was created by a Huge MJ Fan a week before his passing. We all know Michael was big into Jackets and Costumes and one of his very popular ones was his Beat It Jacket and that is what this cake was based on.

To create a Michael Jackson Jacket Cake you can easily start with Wilton's Shirt Cake Pan. That will give you the base. Then you must decide which of MJ's Jackets you want to re create and there are many.

We all know Michael Jackson's Costumes were filled with Dazzle like - Rhinestones, Gems, Sequins, Gold, Silver etc...

Well baking supplies have come a long way and you can find lots of Sprinkles, Dusting Sugars, Edible Gems and Rhinestones etc... to add to your Cake to give it that Sparkle like Michael had on his clothing, but this stuff you can eat.

Did you know you can make and buy Edible Jewels and Diamonds to add to your Cake? They are actually made from Sugar and Corn Starch and either Colored or left Clear to resemble Diamonds.

Oh the Glove - That White Sequined Glove Michael Jackson loved to wear and only one of course. So why not make a White Glove Cake for the party?

There are many ways this can be done - The Glove Cake you see pictured to the right was made by cakes-a-nonymous and created using Rice Krispy Treats that were shaped into a Glove. Then she covered it with White Fondant and Modeling Chocolate - add some Silver Dragees and the Edible Glove was Born.

You can also Cut a Hand Shape using Baked Cake as well - Frost with Vanilla Frosting, Add your Silver Dragees to resemble Sequins.

If you are good with Fondant then bake any size cake Frost with any Color you chose and Cut out a Hand Shape from the Fondant to place on the top. Add your Silver Dragees and you have a different design.

You can even use the Hand Cookie Cutter and make some Micheal Jackson Glove Cookies and add then to the top of your Cake or even Cupcakes.

If you are not feeling so ambitious with the cake making there is never a shortage of Edible Michael Jackson Cake Images to chose from. These are simply placed right on the top of your Baked and Frosted Cake. You can find so many different photos available of Michael Jackson to use on top of your cake and some sellers will even personalize them for you as well.
