Choosing a Party Favor

Party Planning can be hard enough, but when it comes to the Party Favors parents always have a hard time. Being a Party Planner I have seen parents go overboard on party favors almost every time.

What happened to party favors just being a small token saying "Thank You' for coming to my party? When did they become extravagant gifts for each child? Well it has happened and we need to change that - kids expect them now.

Party Favors should cost you no more than $5.00 per child and even less and it can be done. You can spend more when your party activity doubles as your party favor.

My other problem with parents and party favors is - STOP sending the kids home with bags of candy and useless toys!!! I hate nothing more than my kids coming home from parties with this stuff and I know you all do to - so keep that in mind when choosing your party favors.

I really like my kids coming home with things that are useful and that is where the Take Home Party Cups come in. I am highlighting these because they are one of my favorite party favors to give away at parties. The kids love them and they can use them over and over again.

In Most cases you can get cups to match almost any theme you are doing for the party. If you like you add some small goodies inside as well like Stickers and Tattoos without going overboard. I also like to personalize the cups when able by writing the child's name on them with a permanent marker. It adds a special touch. I even attach a healthy snack to them to enjoy after the party and that is ok as well.

The other thing I do is attach a small cut paper with a Thank You sentiment, hole punch it and attach it to each cup with ribbon.

Trust me the parents will thank you and the kids love them.

It is all about my rule I use: K.I.S.S. - Keeping It Simple Saves.

So keep reading and maybe you will find a Take Home Party Cup that will work for you and I will save you from Party Favor Overspending.
