Great Activity for the Kids at Thanksgiving
Every holiday when my family gets together we always plan an activity for the kids to do. One fun activity is to allow them to make their own Turkey Cupcakes. It is so easy to do and the kids not only get a fun treat to eat, but they also have an activity at the same time. Now there are many ways you can create a Turkey Cupcake and here I will share some of the ones that I think are Fun and Easy to do.

My Turkey Cupcake
For the Turkey Cupcakes we made on Thanksgiving we used:
- Vanilla Cupcakes
- Chocolate Frosting with 1/2 the cupcake frosted
- Candy Corns for the Tail Feathers placed on the Frosting
- Mini M&M's for the eyes
- Red Cake Decorating Gel for the feet and beak and any additional decorating
Now each one made theirs different and we set it on the table with all the goodies and our sample cupcake, but we also had lots of other left over Halloween Candy that they could choose to use for their own designs. They had fun making the cupcakes, eating the candy and also enjoyed their cupcakes.

@GPAGE Thanks so much. I think I am going to do the Oreo Turkeys this year - I think it is time to change it up a bit and those look yummy don't they?
I hate to say this, but the children don't look very happy. The cupcakes look great!
@Sandyspider - I am laughing so hard after reading this comment - it does not look like they are does it. I promise they were - it was late after a long day and them running around. They had fun, but maybe a bit grumpy. I never even noticed that - too funny.
Cute ideas. I just can't see myself going to all that trouble for something that's going to be destroyed (by my 2-yr-old) or devoured (by my husband) in two seconds! :-)
